01 · Province of Bolzano

Batteries: 30%

For private individuals: 30% of eligible cost for batteries serving PV systems, up to 1 kWh of storage per kWp of solar. The general minimum investment is €4,000 excluding VAT.

02 · Heat pump + PV

60%

For private individuals, an electric heat pump combined with PV may receive 60% of eligible costs when all technical and building requirements are met. PV must generally provide at least 0.25 kWp per thermal kW.

03 · Small businesses

25%

In 2026, the provincial PV grant for small businesses is stated as 25% of eligible costs, provided finished products and main components are not manufactured in China.

04 · National tax deduction

Up to 50%

For 2025–2026 expenditure on a principal home, the Italian Revenue Agency states a 50% deduction for qualifying renovation/energy work when ownership and other conditions are met. Other properties and circumstances may use different rates.

05 · CER

60–120 €/MWh

GSE pays a 20-year premium on shared electricity in Renewable Energy Communities, varying with plant size and market price. Northern Italian PV can receive an additional adjustment of up to €10/MWh.

06 · Rules that matter

Apply before work starts

Provincial grants require a myCIVIS application before work begins; invoices and traceable payments must follow. The same eligible cost generally cannot receive another benefit, except for defined CER cases.
